Centrifugal filters are generally used for primary treatment of groundwater and surface water with high sand content, and are often used as primary filtration of water in micro-drip irrigation systems. The working principle of centrifugal filter is that the centrifugal force generated by the high-speed rotating water flow separates the sand particles and other heavier impurities from the water body, and it has no internal screen or removable parts, which makes the maintenance and upkeep very convenient. The sand chamber at the bottom of the centrifugal filter must be flushed frequently to prevent deposited sediment from being brought back into the system. The separation effect of centrifugal filter is very poor for organic matter or impurities with specific gravity less than water, and only in a certain flow range can it play a proper role in purifying water or be used in combination with a mesh filter. The structural design of centrifugal filter completely follows the principle of hydraulics, and the separation effect is good.
