Centre-supported sprinkler is also known as pointer-type sprinkler and circular sprinkler. It is a large-scale sprinkler that rotates and sprinkles around the centre of the water supply system by supporting the pipe with the sprinkler head on a support that can walk automatically.

Fixed centre pivot sprinkler
One end is fixed and the other spans are moved clockwise by motor-driven tyres, such equipment is called fixed centre pivot sprinkler. Water is supplied from a central point and delivered to the field through mains and sprinklers. The advantage of this equipment is the use of small amount of labour and water resources to irrigate 13 ha-130 ha from a single supply point. The specially designed steel structure allows for different lengths of equipment. The smallest unit is designed with one span plus a cantilever (80m long) for small plots. Heavy duty designs can be extended to 11 spans (650m) or more. Angle irons and ground bolts are strong enough to withstand storms.

Equipment trajectory
One end of the machine is fixed in the middle of the plot, and the body with motor and tyres is connected to each other and rotates around the centre point. The water flows from the centre point through the evenly distributed spray nozzles on the body to irrigate the ground. The trajectory is circular, which makes it suitable for irrigation of square plots.

Equipment length
Individual span lengths of 50m, 56m, 62m: cantilever lengths of 6m, 12m, 18m, 24m are available; tail guns are optional. Different numbers and lengths of spans and combinations of cantilevers and tail guns are used to achieve the irrigation radius required by the customer. The length of the equipment can be up to 800 metres, and it can irrigate 3000 acres of land in a single pass.
